Structured Wire is the infrastrucual wiring in your home. TV cables, Phone lines, Internet Jacks, and Closed Circut Television locations. In a typical design all of the above wiring is generaly ran to one central location known as a Structured Wiring Panel. This panel allows you to upgrade or change what the locations in the rooms will be used as, and store unsightly modules that create "mess" around computer and entertainment areas. For Example: you can place your computer modem and router in this panel and free up space around your computer. Structured wire is usually associated with the prewire of home theater and multi room audio as well.
We generally recommend that this in wall panel be placed in a closet or pantry central in the home. This allows things such as wireless internet to be able to reach the most area in a home possible.
